What is up everybody!?! Well, it is that time of the week again! It is so crazy how fast time flies. I got onto my email today and had a email about Myplan. Wow, I can’t believe it is that time of my mission where I start Myplan.
This week we were able to help out with some service for George. He is a potential investigator who we have been helping out with a bunch of service. This week Elder Silva and I helped him put up part of a fence and this week we are going to help him finish the fence. It was great service! We were also able to help out with some service for a guy named Erick. I am not sure if I have written about him before but he called the Sylvan Elders a few weeks ago and needed help. He needed help again so we decided to help them out with the service project. Not sure if any of you have seen the “Hello” video by Adele, but he watched it and decided to call missionaries. It is a super funny video that talks about how missionaries will mow your lawn for free so he gave them a call.
We have been knocking a lot of doors! We had the opportunity to go on exchanges this week with the Oakdale Elders. I had the opportunity to go on exchanges with Elder Ozment. He is a new missionary from Oklahoma. He is 18 and has graduated from high school and has already done 2 1/2 years of college. He is a pretty smart guy! We were able to talk with a bunch of people and we gave out a Book of Mormon to a lady who is Muslim. She said she would read it, which was pretty cool! I love being able to briefly testify about the Book of Mormon and how it has blessed my life.
Not a whole lot else happened this week. Time just keeps flying by. Here is the quote for today, “Make the decision to do what Jesus Christ has asked you to do.” -M. Russell Ballard. I love this quote. Jesus Christ has made and set the example for us. As we strive to be like Jesus Christ and do as He did, then that is what Christ has asked us to do. We need to follow Him as closely as possible and always be a great example to others. I love my Savior. Each and every day I am so grateful for Him and the things that He has done for me. I love this gospel and know that it is true!
